Under general direction, the engineer provides extended expertise in planning and designing manufacturing processes to improve the fabrication of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products. Meets high level of engineering standards per design specifications. Required Skills Provide extended expertise in planning and designing manufacturing processes to improve the manufacture of new and existing Axillon Aerospace products. Determine the parts, equipment, and tools needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications. Maintain labor standards, safety initiatives, facility layout, capacity analysis, and process simulation. Contribute to the completion of organizational projects and goals. Participate in the introduction of new products to the manufacturing and supply chain environment. Transfer new products into production from a “design for manufacturability” approach. Develop process improvement projects aligned with business strategies. Analyze production processes and output quality to improve efficiency in production yields and throughput. Maximize efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization. Support capital equipment studies and proposal activities. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Educational Level: ( Required )Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience. ( Preferred )Master's Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
