What You'll Do

• Conduct mental health screenings and assessments based on records and clinical interviews with inmates.
• Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans tailored to each inmate's needs.
• Document treatment activities and evaluations accurately in health care records.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all sensitive information.
• Apply thorough knowledge of psychological counseling theories and techniques in treatment activities.
• Provide mental health assessments, counseling, and crisis intervention as necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure comprehensive inmate care.

What You Need

• Active licensure in mental health or related field in New Mexico
• US citizenship required for ICE clearance (processing time approx. 4+ weeks) – can start with clearance pending
• Prior experience with mental health evaluations and interventions, ideally in correctional or institutional settings
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle sensitive situations professionally
