Working Title: COURT PROGRAM SPECIALIST II - 22010903 Columbia , Dixie, Hamilton, Lafayette, Madison, Suwannee, and Taylor Counties Administrative Office of the Courts Third Judicial Circuit Court Program Specialist II Position #10903 Application Deadline: October 9, 2026 The essential function of the Court Program Specialist II position within the organization is primarily for the intake, review, file preparation, case coordination, docketing, and case management of pending civil cases in the Third Judicial Circuit. This position will cross-train on Family case management too. The incumbent is responsible for drafting forms and orders; developing case management procedures; and instituting court processes under the direction of the assigned Judge or General Magistrate. Additionally, this position will attend hearings, communicate with parties, collect data, and prepare orders, reports and other documents needed to manage and expedite the cases through the court system. The position works under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator, or other supervising positions as assigned in the future, supporting the Judges & General Magistrate. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology or a closely related subject matter plus three years of court experience. Minimum Qualifications Seven years of professional administrative or related experience. Education may substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to organize work and establish priorities to meet deadlines; ability to handle sensitive matters with integrity and confidentiality; ability to draft comprehensive, clear and concise orders, correspondence and judicial memos; knowledge of the court system.
