Registered Nurse - Cardiac and Peripheral Procedures

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

10-hour shifts, typically from 07:00 AM to 05:30 PM, with 40 hours per week expected. Call approximately 8-10 shifts per month, including roughly 1 weekend per month.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a dynamic acute care setting, specializing in cardiac, peripheral, interventional radiology (IR), electrophysiology (EP), device management, TAVR, and Watchman procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional clinical skills and possess the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer care to patients undergoing various cardiac and peripheral procedures.
• Monitor patient conditions and provide post-operative care.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Utilize EPIC charting system for accurate documentation.
• Participate in on-call rotations as scheduled.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA or ARC).
• Experience in acute care nursing, particularly with cardiac and peripheral procedures, is preferred.
