Activities Assistant

Activities Assistant Northwood Rehabilitation & Health Care Center in Lowell is hiring per diem Activities Assistants to join our fun and creative recreation team! Weekly pay at $16 an hour. Requirements: Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or its equivalent. We can train the right candidate! Help coordinate and run events and activities programming. Duties: Help coordinate and run events and activities programming. Build relationships with residents and learn about their interests to tailor programming to their desires. Organize group and individual programming. Generate ideas that will excite and encourage residents to participate in programming. Encourage residents to take part in activities that will stimulate his/her potential, physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually. Assist with and follow through on the establishment of resident care goals within the framework of the entire therapeutic team. Document and report any unusual or significant findings. Report all reportable events immediately.
