American Traveler is hiring a full-time Special Education Teacher (Mod/Severe) for a center-based Structured Learning Services program supporting K-5 students with Autism.

Job Details

• Non-clinical school-based setting in a center-based Structured Learning Services program for students with Autism,
• Focus on grades K-5, with an emphasis on K-2,
• Caseload of approximately 8-14 students,
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• Contracted for 40 hours per week,
• Paraprofessional support assigned based on student need,

Job Requirements

• CDE license required in-hand for consideration if applicable,
• Experience with Autism and behavior management required,
• Strength in classroom systems and structures a plus,
• Colorado CBI and FBI fingerprinting clearance required,

Additional Information

• Join a program with targeted district support and a long-term teacher already established in a second program,
• Work within a supportive school community,
• Fingerprinting clearance should be completed promptly upon signing contract
