Work Environment\nIn this role, you will work primarily in a virtual setting, engaging with clients via teletherapy while also having the option to conduct in-person sessions at our welcoming outpatient office in Schellsburg. Key Responsibilities\nAs a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health challenges, thereby informing the development of individualized treatment plans. \n
- Providing high-quality individual therapy using a range of evidence-based modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and solution-focused approaches, to support clients on their journey to recovery. \n
- Collaboratively setting therapeutic goals with clients and diligently monitoring their progress through regular check-ins and adaptations of treatment strategies. \n
- Offering teletherapy services to clients preferring or needing remote support, ensuring accessibility and convenience. \n
- Maintaining meticulous and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to uphold ethical standards and comply with regulatory requirements. \n
- Participating in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, training sessions, and conferences to stay informed on the latest advancements in mental health practices. \n

Qualifications\nThe ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

- A current and valid mental health license in Pennsylvania, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). \n
- A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build therapeutic relationships with clients. \n
- A compassionate, empathetic demeanor and the ability to provide non-judgmental support to clients facing various challenges. \n
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, allowing for the efficient handling of a diverse client caseload and administrative tasks. \n
