Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant opening in Rapid City, SD Full-Time Urgent Care Varied Hours No CallAn urgent care clinic in Rapid City, South Dakota is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide outpatient urgent care services in a collaborative, physician-supervised setting.Opportunity Highlights:

• Full-time Urgent Care APP role
• Predominantly outpatient urgent care setting
• Clinic provides patient access 364 days per year
• Assess, diagnose, treat, and manage urgent care patients
• Manage selected at-risk or complex patients in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and healthcare team members
• May perform procedures within scope of practice
• No operating room requirement
• No practice call or ED/unassigned call requirement
• Responsibilities include ordering appropriate tests, procedures, and therapies
• Provide referrals or transfer patients when appropriate
• Respond to emergency situations based on individual patient needs
• Complete thorough and timely documentation
• Regular full-time position with 40 scheduled weekly hours
• Varied hours based on department needs

Candidate Requirements:
• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• South Dakota Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification required
• 1+ year of clinical experience preferred
• 1+ year of healthcare experience preferred
• Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Comfortable managing acute illness, minor injuries, procedures, and patient referrals/transfers as needed
