About the Position

Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Abington, Pennsylvania

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, 12-hour shifts with weekend requirement of 1 weekend per 6-week schedule. Holiday and on-call shifts are optional. No floating or blocked scheduling permitted.

Highlights:

• Surgical scrub role supporting diverse specialties including total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic surgery
• Preferred experience in ortho, urology, endoscopy, vascular, thoracic, neuro and neuro spine, bariatrics, plastics, ENT, podiatry, and transplant
• Trauma Level II experience required with exposure to emergency surgical cases
• Epic charting system utilized; scrubs provided by facility
• 19 operating rooms with approximately 50 visits per day supporting adult and geriatric patient populations
• 12-hour orientation program with comprehensive onboarding support

Requirements:

• Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid compact state license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room experience as a surgical scrub nurse
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Trauma experience required; first-time travelers accepted with appropriate clinical background
• Must be proficient in scrubbing the following specialties: total joints, neuro, hybrid vascular, and robotic procedures
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required
• Completion of Pennsylvania state fingerprinting and background clearances required
• Valid professional references and certification documentation required at submission
