Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Vascular Surgery

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care in the vascular surgery department Assist surgeons in the operating room Conduct patient assessments and develop care plans Monitor and manage post-operative patients Educate patients and families on vascular health Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes Document patient care and treatment plans accurately Participate in patient rounds and case discussions Requirements Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies Current NP or PA certification and licensure Experience in vascular surgery or a related field preferred Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols Schedule: 8-hour day shifts, 2 weeks per month No call requirement Will primarily cover the vascular clinic Monthly Volume: 8 surgical cases, 60 cath lab procedures Duties: Seeing new and established patients, conducting evaluations, and treating non-surgical cases Support Staff: Vascular surgeon EMR: Epic Must be board-certified Paid travel & expenses #J-18808-Ljbffr
