Certified Nursing AssistantOur Certified Nursing Assistants provide basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor. Hiring for 2PM - 10PM and 10PM - AM CNA shifts. Sign-on bonus but will be paid in installments!Principal ResponsibilitiesParticipates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty and documents information accuratelyAssists with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc.Assists residents in ambulation with or without self-help devices as instructedAccurately measures and records temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructedEnsures that residents' personal care needs are being met in accordance with residents' wishesMaintains cleanliness of resident units, central bathing area, treatment and supply rooms, workrooms, and linen closets; cleans bedpans, urinals, and commodes; washes basins and emesis basins; sanitizes bathtub after each resident's use; cleans floors if resident is incontinent; wipes spilled foods and liquidsAdvises charge nurse of resident(s) condition beginning and end of shiftAbility to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and proceduresAccount for personal care (i.e. Grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing), and observation of residents within patient care guidelines. Identify and report any condition requiring management attentionProvides hydration to all residents according to center policyEnsures all protected health information is kept confidentialReports all allegations of resident abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of resident propertyProvides range of motion exerciseAssures that residents are positioned appropriately for mealsServes food trays and assists with feeding as indicatedDelivers and documents all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplementsPerforms miscellaneous tasks as required by policy or nurse supervisorPhysical Demands – OfficeWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and 51-100 pounds with assistance. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
