Cost Accountant - Hybrid

Vaco is partnering directly with the CFO of a growing manufacturing company seeking a hands‑on Cost Accountant to support plant operations. Contract OPENING STARTS IMMEDIATELY Where: Canton, MA When: Immediate Need Pay: $55-$65/hour Key Responsibilities: Analyze and maintain standard costs , variances, and inventory reporting Partner with plant leadership on cost control and efficiency initiatives Support month‑end close , including journal entries and reconciliations Evaluate manufacturing KPIs , margins, and production performance Assist with budgeting and forecasting for plant operations Qualifications: Strong experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment Deep understanding of plant operations and inventory accounting Advanced Excel skills (ERP experience preferred) Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
