BayCare provides an array of benefits to help you meet the daily challenges of balancing all aspects of your life and career goals.Benefits (Health, Dental, Vision)Paid time offTuition reimbursement401k match and additional yearly contributionYearly performance appraisals and team award bonusCommunity discounts and moreAND the Chance to be part of an amazing team and a great place to work!The Basic Machine Operator is responsible for the following:Assists providers with patient examination, procedures, treatment, and x-ray/imaging services.Responsible for patient histories, routine lab procedures and preparation of specimens for transport to the lab.Follows up on test orders and reports results to provider and patient, provides and maintains patient education materials, maintains medical equipment, and orders clinical supplies.Creates and maintains patient electronic medical record (EMR).Complies with all applicable regulatory agency regulations.Supports both front and back-office duties.Performs other duties as assigned.Position may require travel to other sites depending on patient volume and clinic needs.Ability to work extended hours including evenings and weekends.Required Certification or Licensure includes BLS Certificate and Florida Basic Machine Operator (BMO).BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire andFlorida Basic Machine Operator (BMO)Education:Required High School or Equivalent;Preferred Technical Medical AssistantExperience:Preferred 2 years Medical AssistantEqual Opportunity Employer Veterans/Disabled
