Overview American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Case Manager for a 13 week travel contract at an inpatient medical-surgical facility in Massachusetts. The position requires 10+ years of case management experience and an active MA RN license. Details Inpatient medical-surgical setting with a 200 bed adult patient population Case Management unit focused on utilization management and discharge planning Clinician-to-patient ratio: 1:15 Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-4:30 pm (5x8 hrs) Weekend commitment up to every other weekend Floating required No rotating shifts EMR: Epic (experience required) Requirements Active MA RN license (no pending or conditional licenses) Minimum 10 years RN experience Experience in case management, utilization management, and discharge planning BLS certification required (AHA only; Red Cross not accepted) Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions Two professional references Additional Information Provide inpatient case management services including utilization review and discharge planning for adult medical-surgical patients Local candidates within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, are eligible to apply Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking available at daily rates and public transportation encouraged Pay Weekly pay: $2,675 (estimated range $2,408-$2,675). The $2,675 weekly pay listed includes a $1,240 weekly wage and a $1,435 weekly stipend covering lodging, meals, and incidentals. The total compensation for 13 weeks is $34,775.
