This role requires a highly organized, hands-on leader who communicates clearly, solves problems proactively, and drives successful project outcomes while fostering a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in pre-construction meetings to align scope, schedule, logistics, safety, and expectations with stakeholders and project teams.
  • Coordinate and manage temporary facilities and site logistics, including site access, laydown areas, utilities, and safety measures.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce project-specific safety plans and ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company safety policies.
  • Conduct and lead weekly safety meetings, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training to maintain a safe jobsite environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of various contractors and individual trades, ensuring compliance with contract requirements and project specifications.
  • Manage subcontractor contracts in the field, including scope clarification, change coordination, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee daily scheduling and sequencing of work activities to ensure efficient use of labor, equipment, and materials.
  • Plan and manage manpower on the jobsite, including forecasting needs, assigning crews, and adjusting resources to meet schedule milestones.
  • Ensure adherence to QA/QC programs by monitoring work in progress, verifying compliance with drawings and specifications, and addressing deficiencies promptly.
  • Conduct and coordinate city and authority inspections, ensuring work is ready for inspection and all required documentation is in place.
  • Maintain accurate time and unit recording for labor and production, and ensure timely reporting of jobsite metrics.
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to report progress, discuss issues, coordinate changes, and align on schedule and budget impacts.
  • Manage jobsite documentation, including daily reports, RFIs, submittals, change documentation, and inspection records, using Procore and other project management systems.
  • Administer and manage punch lists, ensuring all items are documented, assigned, tracked, and completed in Procore prior to project closeout.
  • Review and verify completion of punch list items with stakeholders and ensure final quality meets project and client expectations.
  • Interpret and review blueprints, design documents, and construction contracts to guide field activities and resolve discrepancies.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) trades and ensure their work is properly integrated with other trades and systems.
  • Apply construction scheduling techniques and tools to develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules, and communicate impacts to the team.
  • Monitor and support cost control in the field by identifying potential cost impacts, implementing efficient work methods, and minimizing rework.
  • Promote and model a team-oriented culture where everyone supports each other, wears multiple hats, and helps wherever needed.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by maintaining professional communication, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering work that meets or exceeds expectations.
  • Support and apply LEAN, BIM, and sustainability practices and systems as appropriate to project scope and requirements.
  • Use strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, project management systems, and scheduling software, to support planning, tracking, and reporting.
  • Work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people simultaneously to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency on the jobsite.
  • Provide strong leadership, management, and accountability to field teams, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Essential Skills

  • Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and the ability to develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules.
  • Strong cost control capabilities and the ability to support budget management from the field.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and coordinate large groups of contractors, trades, and field personnel.
  • Minimum OSHA 30 safety certification and strong knowledge of construction safety practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Procore or similar construction project management software for documentation, punch lists, and communication.
  • Proficiency in commercial construction methods, means, equipment, tools, and work procedures.
  • Strong understanding of construction safety requirements and the ability to implement and enforce safety plans on site.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, design documents, and construction contracts accurately.
  • Understanding of LEAN construction concepts, BIM processes, and sustainability practices and systems.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office (such as Word, Excel, and Outlook), project management systems, and scheduling software.
  • Excellent organization skills with high attention to detail in planning, documentation, and execution.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Broad range of people skills, including strong leadership, team management, and accountability.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people to achieve maximum effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Capability to ensure client satisfaction while supporting company profitability and maintaining a safe work environment.

  • Familiarity with construction in complex environments such as theme parks or large resort properties.
  • Experience with subcontractor management, including performance oversight and issue resolution.
  • Ability to interpret and apply LEAN, BIM, and sustainability principles to field operations where applicable.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think ahead while also resolving day-to-day field issues efficiently.
