Contract Manager

Contract Manager - Administrator III Location: Baltimore, MD. Hybrid telework schedules may be available. Responsibilities Prepare Invitations for Bids (IFB), Requests for Proposals (RFP), Requests for Information (RFIs), Small Procurement, and Sole Source proposals. Manage contracts after award: monitor funding, vendor performance, compliance, review, and approve invoices. Assist the Department of Procurement with the procurement process from solicitation to award of contract, including participating in the evaluation and award process. Coordinate and lead contract‑related meetings such as kick‑off, quarterly partnering, and performance and compliance meetings. Assist the department with daily facility issues, including research products, materials, or services contracts for the Operations Division. Manage special projects or other contract management activities as assigned, which may entail attending meetings on site and performing site visits at facilities that have contractors. Qualifications Minimum Education : Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Minimum Experience : Six (6) years of experience in administrative staff or professional work. Two (2) years of this experience must include full‑cycle contract management or full‑cycle procurement. Licenses & Certifications : Applicants must possess a Class C Driver's License valid in the State of Maryland and list the license number and date of expiration on the application.
