Position Overview Baptist Health is looking to add a Registered Nurse (RN) to our Pre-Op and Post-Op unit at Wolfson Surgery Center. This is a PRN Day shift opportunity with a commitment of 2 shifts per week. Responsibilities Assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care Coordination and preparation of assigned room/case, assessment of patient care needs and anticipation of needs of the case This is a fast-paced peri-operative unit, specializing in PreOp and Phase 2 recovery No major holidays, no weekends, and no call required Experience 2-4 years Emergency Department, ICU, Surgical Services Experience Education Associate of Science in Nursing (Required) Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Licensed Registered Nurse Required Background Check This position is designated as requiring a level II Background (A detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that check state and national criminal history) and will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
