Patient Care Technician

"Job Summary * Responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. * Perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient. * Perform observations of patients and reports changes in patient condition to the registered nurse. * Perform specific skills including phlebotomy and point of care testing (POCT). * Assist in all aspects of daily living activities for the patients, including, but not limited to general hygiene of the patient, changings, light housekeeping, and patient vitals. Experience * Prior direct patient care experience preferred, but not required for employment.
