- # Product Manager 2 - Payments Experience (Hybrid - Seattle)The Product Manager 2 is a key member of the Nordstrom Product Management team, championing payments infrastructure modernization through data-driven insights and delivery of critical capabilities that power Nordstrom’s payment ecosystem. Product Management at Nordstrom collaborates across the organization to drive innovative solutions that solve real problems, anticipate customer needs, and exceed their expectations to drive brand loyalty resulting in greater market share and improved financial performance. To accomplish this, product managers plan the product roadmap and prioritize the applicable technology backlog, lead product discovery, and measure and communicate results of the feature portfolio, all while ensuring stakeholder alignment.As a Product Manager 2 within the Payments product team, you’ll play a critical role in executing our payments modernization strategy across Nordstrom’s payments infrastructure. This includes our Payment Orchestration Layer, payment provider integrations, and core payment processing capabilities across Nordstrom.com, NordstromRack.com, our iOS and Android apps, and in-store Point-of-Sale systems. Write technical requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria, influencing within your domainWork with engineering and business to balance customer value and technical effort, complexity, and risk, with minimal support3+ years of product management experience or equivalent, with transaction or payments experience preferredBachelor’s degree in Business, Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experienceFamiliarity with payment systems, payment processors, and/or payment orchestration; direct experience implementing payment providers (e.g., Braintree, Worldpay, Fiserv) a strong plus Ability to build and maintain cross-functional relationships with teams across Analytics, Engineering, UX, Finance, and Business Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to various levels within a matrixed organization Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills Outstanding organizational and time management skills
