Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client's healthcare facility in Miami, FL . This is a 6 months contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Job Details Schedule: Monday-Friday: 5:00 AM-1:30 PM Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM Schedule: Monday-Friday: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM Rotational Saturdays: 5:00 AM-11:00 AM Location: Miami, FL 33186 or Miami, FL 33176 Job Type: Local contract Contract Length: 6+ months Pay Range: $19 to $21/hour* *Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education. Duties Perform accurate and efficient venipuncture and blood specimen collection. Collect specimens from adult, pediatric, and geriatric patients . Prepare and process specimens according to established procedures. Explain collection procedures clearly and professionally to patients. Create a comfortable and trustworthy environment for patients. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing as required. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Follow established safety, quality, and confidentiality procedures. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Provide excellent customer service to patients, clients, and coworkers. Requirements Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Years of experience: Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience - REQUIRED Skills/Specialties/Technology: Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections.
