Travel Physical Therapist (PT) | Alameda, CA

Location: Alameda, California

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to provide skilled rehabilitation services in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility standards. The PT will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering hands-on therapy to improve mobility, strength, and independence.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients per physician orders and referrals

• Develop and update individualized plans of care and discharge plans

• Document all services accurately and promptly

• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Aides as required by practice acts

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families

• Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory policies

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)

• Active California PT license (or eligibility to obtain)

• Minimum 1–2 years of recent clinical experience (inpatient or outpatient)

• Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills

• Flexibility to adapt to various patient needs and facility protocols

Assignment Details

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• Patient Population: Post-surgical, orthopedic, neurological, and general rehab
