Float Phlebotomist

Job Overview Labcorp seeks a Float Phlebotomist to join our team in Little Rock, AR. Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed; reliable transportation required. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience in a clinical/hospital environment. 1 or more years of experience assisting all patient age groups (pediatric to geriatric). Current or prior LabCorp experience. Additional Job Standards In lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency. Will cover sites in Little Rock, AR and surrounding areas (50+ miles). Ability to work in a fast‑paced/high‑volume environment. Pass a standardized color‑blindness test. Be 21 years of age or older and have a clean driving record. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills: written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Benefits Employees scheduled for 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled for less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are eligible to participate only in the 401(k) Plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
