ICU Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel Position

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU care. This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse looking to further their career in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients, including trauma, surgical, and neurological cases.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, vital signs, and treatment responses.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families on health management and care options.

Schedule

This position offers a schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, providing 48 hours of work weekly. Flexibility to float to other units may be required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must possess an active RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU staff experience, specifically in trauma, surgical, and neurological patients.
• Previous travel nursing experience is mandatory.
• Competency test required within 24 hours of submission.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
