Paint Mixing Technician

Job Title
Responsible for maintaining the mixing room of the paint line.
Primary Responsibilities
- Working within the paint line/mixing room
- Maximizing efficiencies while ensuring quality
- Control paint mixing/changeovers
- Inventory control
- Keep the paint mixing room neat and clean
- 6S of area
- Follow standard operating procedures when using tools and equipment such as dual-action sanders and paint sprayers
- Follow standard operating procedures when using sealants, paint strippers, and corrosion-preventive chemicals and use protective equipment as required
Knowledge And Skill Requirements
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Maintain and follow all training requirements
- Understand and follow all quality, safety, and environmental processes and procedures
- Follow all recycling programs
- Able to work different hours and shifts as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Use required safety equipment
- Preventative maintenance within the paint line as assigned
- Requires working in high temperature/humidity environment
