Summer Law Clerk position for a Divorce and Family Law Firm Birmingham, Michigan A dynamic and growing women-focused law firm in Birmingham, Michigan is seeking an ambitious and compassionate Law Clerk to join our collaborative legal team. You must be enrolled in law school, have completed the first year, and have completed a legal research class. Responsibilities Assist with all aspects of divorce and family law cases. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and correspondence. Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings. Attend depositions. Conduct legal research and case preparation. Help with communicating with clients in a compassionate manner. Work collaboratively with attorneys and support staff to achieve successful client outcomes. Qualifications Enrolled in an accredited law school. Have completed a legal research class. Strong writing, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Interest in divorce and family law matters.
