Operations Assistant

Pay: $21.50+ per hour, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift

We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Operations Assistant to provide office and operational support in a manufacturing environment. This position will assist with daily administrative tasks, recordkeeping, purchasing, inventory tracking, and communication across departments.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, and reports.
• Enter and update production, inventory, and purchasing information.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoice reconciliation, and vendor communication.
• Support employee onboarding and maintain training documentation.
• Answer phones, greet visitors, and scan and organize documents.
• Assist with safety records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate office supplies and service requests.
• Provide general support to management and assist with special projects.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; additional education a plus.
• Previous administrative experience preferred, especially in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.
• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, maintain accuracy, and handle confidential information.
• Experience with inventory or business management software a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing areas.
• Frequent sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
