Candidates must be comfortable working independently, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with NEC and local code requirements.This is a hands-on field role supporting residential solar installation, electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and operational quality control.What You'll DoInstall, wire, troubleshoot, and commission residential solar PV systemsPerform electrical work for roof-mounted and ground-mounted solar systemsInterpret electrical drawings, site plans, blueprints, and system schematicsEnsure all electrical work meets NEC standards and local AHJ requirementsTroubleshoot system performance issues, inverter faults, and electrical deficienciesPerform testing and verification of system functionality and safetySupport installation crews onsite and maintain efficient workflowMaintain organized documentation, photos, and completion recordsCommunicate professionally with homeowners, inspectors, and internal operations teamsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentWhat We're Looking ForPrevious residential electrical experience requiredSolar PV experience preferredStrong understanding of residential electrical systems and troubleshootingAbility to work independently and maintain productivity in the fieldStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipComfortable working on rooftops, ladders, and in outdoor environmentsProfessional communication and customer interaction skillsValid driver's license with acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, carry, and move equipment safely throughout the workdayPreferred QualificationsSolar installation experienceOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certificationExperience with battery storage systemsExperience supporting residential solar crewsWhat We Provide:Company Truck for work-related travelGas Cards for fuel expensesWear and Tear (Consumables) Tools providedCompetitive compensation and opportunities for growthSupportive team environment focused on safety and qualityLegal DisclaimerSpartanX is an Equal Opportunity Employer that values workplace diversity.
