Overview:

Soak Laundry Service is a fast-growing laundry pickup and delivery company serving the Phoenix metro area. We’re hiring a dependable, organized driver to pick up and deliver laundry for residential and commercial customers.

This position starts at a guaranteed 30 hours per week, with the opportunity to increase up to 40 hours as our delivery volume continues to grow. You will begin and end your routes in Glendale, where our company vans are parked.

This is a driving-focused position. You must be comfortable operating Ford Transit vans, including low-roof, medium-roof, and high-roof models.

Responsibilities:

• Pick up and deliver laundry to homes and businesses throughout the Phoenix metro area
• Safely operate Ford Transit cargo vans of different sizes
• Load and unload laundry bags weighing up to 40 pounds each
• Carefully check customer names, order labels, and delivery instructions
• Keep every customer’s order separated, organized, and accounted for
• Complete order intake by unloading incoming laundry and accurately entering or confirming orders in our system
• Follow assigned routes using company-provided navigation and routing tools
• Communicate with dispatch and management throughout the day
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Keep the company vehicle clean and organized
• Immediately report vehicle issues, delivery problems, or order discrepancies

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Must qualify for coverage under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy at an acceptable rate
• Comfortable driving low-roof, medium-roof, and high-roof Ford Transit vans
• Able to safely lift and carry laundry bags weighing up to 40 pounds
• Dependable, punctual, organized, and professional
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using a smartphone, navigation apps, and an order-management system
• Able to work independently and manage time effectively
• Delivery, courier, or commercial van experience is preferred but not required

Employment is contingent upon verification of the applicant’s driving record and approval under the company’s commercial auto insurance policy.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, primarily during daytime hours
• Guaranteed 30 hours per week
• Hours may increase up to 40 per week as delivery volume grows
• Alternating Saturdays may be required when needed to complete scheduled weekly hours
• Daily start and end times may vary depending on the route
• Occasional overtime may be available

Company vans are based in Glendale, Arizona. Drivers report to the Glendale location at the beginning and end of their shifts.
