CONTRACT - Regulatory Compliance Data Specialist - 20 hours/ week

Contractor – Regulatory Compliance Data Specialist Job Type: 1099 Contractor, 20 Hours a week. Contractor will pay own taxes, invoice Net 30, not eligible for employee benefits. Location: Boulder, CO – Hybrid. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office; relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered. The contractor will review Bills of Materials (BOMs) for required environmental regulatory data. Where information is missing, the contractor will research part-level environmental data through vendor websites, supplier documentation, and direct communication with vendors. The collected information will be tracked and provided to the Item Master team for entry as stored part-number data. The contractor will also use this data to complete customer environmental disclosure forms for shippable items containing reportable substances. Responsibilities Review BOMs, item master records, part numbers, and supplier data. Collect and validate supplier environmental compliance documentation, including RoHS, REACH, SCIP, TSCA, PFAS, Prop 65, conflict minerals, and material declarations (Preferred). Research part-level compliance information through vendor websites, datasheets, supplier portals, and direct supplier communication. Track compliance data in spreadsheets, ERP systems, or item masters. Complete customer environmental disclosure forms and substance reporting questionnaires. Work with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Regulatory, Customer Support, and Item Master teams. Maintain source records, revision history, and supplier response documentation. Manage large data sets with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Qualifications Experience with reviewing BOMs, item master records, part numbers, and supplier data. Experience collecting and validating supplier environmental compliance documentation. Strong research skills for part-level compliance information. Proficiency in tracking compliance data in spreadsheets, ERP systems, or item masters. Ability to complete customer environmental disclosure forms and substance reporting questionnaires. Team collaboration experience with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Regulatory, Customer Support, and Item Master teams. Strong organizational skills in maintaining source records and documentation. High accuracy and attention to detail managing large data sets. Estimated Duration: Average of 20 hours/ week, ongoing. Compensation: $35 - 43/hour. Salary is competitive within the range based on knowledge, skills, and experience.
