We believe in developing close professional relationships with clients and recognize the importance of understanding their business to better satisfy their legal and commercial requirements, constantly building on our capabilities with innovative solutions suited to the business of our clients and have received numerous awards.The Firm seeks to hire (1) mid-to-senior-level associate with patent experience, preferably focused on patent disputes, to strengthen our Intellectual Property (IP) practice. This role will also support our patent prosecution and patent transactions practices. Open to the Dallas or Washington, DC office.The ideal candidate should have meaningful experience in patent matters and will be expected to support complex intellectual property disputes, including patent, trademark, copyright, false advertising, unfair competition, and trade secret matters, as well as related licensing and commercial disputes. In addition, the associate will assist with patent application drafting and transactional patent matters. An engineering background is essential. We are seeking a skilled, collaborative, and hard-working professional who is ready to contribute to the success of our team. The US base compensation for this position is expected to be $310,000 - $435,000 (annually) if located in an office in the District of Columbia. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
