Description As a General Laborer, you will work alongside our plumbing and HVAC technicians and assist with a variety of residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
• Assisting plumbers and HVAC technicians on job sites
• Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials
• Helping with plumbing, heating, and HVAC installations and repairs
• Assisting with excavation and job-site preparation
• Cleaning and maintaining job sites
• Operating hand and power tools as trained
• Moving equipment and materials
• Helping with demolition and removal of old equipment
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Following directions from lead technicians and supervisors
• Learning the skills necessary to advance within the plumbing and HVAC trades Qualifications We're looking for someone who is:
• Dependable and arrives at work on time
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors
• Able to perform physical work throughout the workday
• Able to lift and move tools, equipment, and materials
• A team player with a positive attitude
• Willing to follow instructions and safety procedures
• Able to work independently when needed
• Interested in developing a career in the skilled trades
• Has reliable transportation
