AR / Staff Accountant (Project-Based Opportunity) Location: Benicia, CA (100% Onsite) Pay: $28 - $34/hour Duration: Ongoing Temporary Assignment Are you a detail-oriented accounting professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking an AR / Staff Accountant to support a key accounting project with a growing organization in Benicia. What You'll Be Doing: Prepare and post Journal Entries (JEs) Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist with Sales & Use Tax filings and reporting Support month-end accounting activities Review financial data for accuracy and compliance Collaborate with the accounting team on special projects and process improvements We're Looking For: Experience in Accounts Receivable and/or General Accounting Strong understanding of reconciliations and journal entries Exposure to Sales & Use Tax processes preferred Proficiency with Excel and accounting software Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
