Rheumatology Physician

Central Maine Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare, is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Rheumatologist to join our expanding specialty team in Lewiston, Maine.

Position Details
- Hospital-employed position at Central Maine Medical Center.
- Outpatient-focused Rheumatology practice with limited inpatient consultations.
- Rheumatology (BC or BE).
- Diagnose and manage autoimmune and inflammatory disorders including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout, and connective tissue diseases.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including biologic and immunomodulatory therapies.
- Perform joint injections and musculoskeletal assessments.
- Collaborate with Primary Care, Orthopedics, Nephrology, Dermatology, and other specialties.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination and quality improvement initiatives.
- Eligible for Maine medical license and DEA registration required.
