Position Overview

• Conduct a wide range of ultrasound examinations, from obstetric to vascular imaging and everything in between
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process, delivering clear and compassionate explanations
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to produce superior diagnostic imagery
• Maintain and trouble-shoot imaging equipment, promptly reporting malfunctions as needed
• Document procedures accurately and manage patient information securely in the electronic medical records system
• Keep abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methodologies and standards

Education & Training Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program preferred

Mandatory Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
