Job Summary:
Operating Room (OR) Nurse position in Lafayette, Colorado. The role involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with the state Board of Nursing standards. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, perform health teaching and counseling, and execute delegated medical tasks. This position requires providing supportive and restorative therapy, referring patients as needed, and documenting in compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours shift times, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) degree from an accredited school of nursing, current RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification from the American Heart Association, and at least 1 year of nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing and certification relevant to the operating room or surgical nursing.
• Certifications: BLS (AHA); ACLS, NRP, or PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit or service are preferred.
• Additional Information: The nurse may be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. May be placed on-call during scheduled shifts.
