Travel Required Up to 25% Pay Grade Maximum $43.00 Major/Essential Functions Coordinate daily operations by making and monitoring daily staff assignments to ensure smooth workflow and task completion. Utilize Electronic Health Records (EHR) to document and communicate patient information, supporting informed clinical decision-making. Assist with or perform medical exams and procedures, ensuring timely documentation of all clinical interventions in the EHR. Administer or assist in administering medications, including accurate documentation of all medication-related activities. Actively participate in team communication by attending meetings and relaying key updates and initiatives during regular staff meetings. Stay current with best practices and treatment modalities to provide the highest quality of care in a correctional health setting. Monitor and ensure timely Access to Care for patients in designated housing units during assigned shifts. Maintain safety and accountability by performing and documenting physical counts of sharps, instruments, and facility keys. Participate in on-call rotation as part of the clinical support team. Required Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program. Two years of nursing experience, with at least 6 months of that experience as a Registered Nurse. Possession of a valid, current RN license as approved by the Texas State Board of Examiners.
