Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Description

Job Summary:

Registered Nurse (ICU) providing critical care support during high-demand periods. You will monitor patient status closely, deliver evidence-based interventions, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess critically ill patients and monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and clinical status continuously.
  
• Administer medications and therapies according to established protocols and provider orders.
  
• Manage ventilators, alarms, lines, and infusion therapies while maintaining patient safety and integrity.
  
• Perform nursing interventions for acutely unstable patients and initiate escalation per policy.
  
• Coordinate care by communicating changes in condition with physicians, respiratory therapy, and other team members.
  
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and timely.
  Qualifications:
  
• Hold an active Registered Nurse license with authorization to practice in the required state/region.
  
• Demonstrate ICU experience with competency in critical care nursing workflows.
  
• Possess current BLS and ACLS credentials (or ability to obtain prior to start).
  
• Apply strong clinical judgment for rapid assessment, prioritization, and escalation.
  
• Maintain proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation standards.
  
• Exhibit teamwork and communication skills in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
