Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program
• Valid School Social Worker license or eligibility for state certification
• Prior experience supporting students within a school setting preferred
• Strong understanding of the unique challenges faced by elementary-age children
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families
• Compassionate communicator with excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and related documentation a plus

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct social work services to students across special education and general education caseloads
• Conduct assessments and develop intervention plans tailored to student needs
• Work closely with teachers and staff to address behavioral or academic concerns
• Collaborate with parents and guardians to provide family-centered support and community resource referrals
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, contributing social-emotional insights for IEPs and 504 plans
• Support crisis intervention and prevention initiatives within the school community
• Maintain detailed records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
