Weekend Speech Therapist

About This Role Reporting to the Speech Pathology Supervisor with line responsibility to department coordinators, the Weekend Per Diem Speech Pathologist provides evaluation and treatment to acute, medically fragile inpatients. Must have experience in providing dysphagia care. Responsible to the patient and family or significant others for the quality of direct and indirect care delivered. Requires working a minimum of one weekend per month (8 am–12 pm each day), one major holiday and one minor holiday per year. Schedule Per Diem Day shift Hours: 8 a‑12 p Pay Range $55.00 – $55.00 / Hourly Minimum Qualifications Education Master's Degree in Speech Pathology required. Experience Three or more years' experience as a Speech Pathologist with acute care experience and expertise in dysphagia evaluation and treatment required. Licensure and/or Certification Current licensure to practice speech therapy in Massachusetts required. CCC‑SLP by the American Speech, Hearing & Language Association required. BLS required within 4 months from hire. Skills Problem solving skills. Courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public both in person and on the phone.
