Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough clinical assessments by employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs. Implement therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other recognized therapies to facilitate client progress and engagement. Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies, ensuring accurate documentation of client interactions and progress. Collaborate effectively with your treatment team, which includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals, to formulate comprehensive care strategies and improve client outcomes. Participate in regular case discussions and peer review meetings, contributing insights and perspectives that foster team learning and enhance the quality of care provided. Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources, equipping them with tools to navigate their journeys towards recovery. Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health, continuously refining therapeutic approaches and enhancing service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma histories, and life transitions. Your skills will be integral in guiding them through their therapeutic process, helping them achieve their mental health goals and fostering resilience in the face of adversity. Qualifications A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program. A valid professional license to practice in the state of Washington, such as LMFT, LICSW, or LMHC. Proficient understanding and ability to apply solution-based psychotherapy interventions tailored to individual client needs. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that enable you to build rapport and trust with clients effectively. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities that support effective decision-making within therapy sessions. Preferred Experience Experience in outpatient mental health care settings, particularly in utilizing telehealth technologies.
