Dental hygienist

Specialized Periodontal Therapy: Execute advanced scaling, root planing (SRP), and targeted pocket therapy procedures with clinical precision.
Comprehensive Clinical Assessment: Conduct thorough periodontal charting, capture digital radiographs, take high-resolution intraoral photos, and perform accurate risk assessments.
Patient Education & Counseling: Inform patients on the critical link between oral-systemic health, customizing home care regimens to effectively manage chronic and acute periodontal disease.
Anesthesia & Sedation Monitoring: Administer local anesthesia safely to ensure patient comfort and diligently monitor nitrous oxide sedation during therapeutic treatments.
Implant & Maintenance Care: Manage long-term 3-to-6-month maintenance protocols for dental implants and post-surgical periodontal patients.
Clinical Case Documentation: Maintain highly detailed, organized clinical case notes and treatment plans in collaboration with the Periodontist.

full-time $45 - $60 per hour

• Licensed dental hygienist
• Local Anesthesia Certification

Licensure: Active, valid Ohio Dental Hygiene License in good standing.
Anesthesia Certification: State-issued Local Anesthesia Certification is strictly required.
Sedation Certification: Nitrous Oxide Monitoring Certification is highly preferred (candidates willing to obtain this shortly after hire will be considered).
Clinical Skillset: Competency in modern digital radiography, clinical assessment documentation, and periodontal charting.
Core Traits: Exceptional patient interaction skills, a compassionate clinical bedside manner, and a strong desire to help shape an expanding specialized hygiene program.
