Warehouse Associate PositionHaddad Plumbing and Heating Inc. is seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our team at our headquarters in Newark, New Jersey. The Warehouse Associate will perform an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.Responsibilities:Loading and unloading delivery trucks and vendor shipments quickly, safely, and accuratelyReceiving, processing, and organizing incoming plumbing and HVAC merchandiseStoring materials in designated locations to maintain an efficient layoutPicking, packing, and preparing orders and parts for our commercial projectsConducting regular inventory checks to ensure accuracyCollaborating with management to flag and resolve any stock or order discrepanciesAny other tasks assigned by managerWhat We Are Looking For:Industry Knowledge: Minimum 1 year of warehouse/stocking experience, with specific experience in Plumbing or HVAC supply requiredPhysical Capability: Ability to safely lift and move up to 50 pounds, and comfortably handle the repetitive loading/unloading of freightDetail-Oriented: Proficient in reading numerical data, verifying packing slips against shipments, and following instructions accuratelyTeam Player: Strong collaboration skills and a commitment to maintaining warehouse safety protocolsCompensation: $19.00 - $20.00 / Opportunity for Overtime WeeklyAfter 40 Hours Overtime Rate: $28.50 - $30.00Potential to Earn: $988.00 – $1,040.00 Gross Per WeekPosition Type:Full-TimeSchedule:Monday – Saturday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PMOur Benefits Package Includes:Health & Wellness: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.Retirement: 401(k) plan with a company match to help you build your future.Paid Time Off: Generous Paid Time Off (PTO), paid vacation days, and paid holidays.Growth: Real opportunities for career advancement within our growing company.Sign-On Bonus Details:We reward reliability and hard work right from the start with a $500 Sign-On Bonus split across two milestone payouts based on clear performance goals:First Payout ($250 at 30 Days): Awarded for consistent on-time attendance (7:00 AM sharp) and completing introductory training on our plumbing/HVAC inventory layout.Second Payout ($250 at 90 Days): Awarded for maintaining a safe, incident-free work record and demonstrating independent, accurate order-picking.Why Join Haddad Plumbing & Heating?
