Shipping and Receiving Clerk

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk , you will perform a variety of tasks such as receiving material and units through accurate documentation, proper packaging and on‑time processing for the best customers from all over the world – from general, business and commercial aviation. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be great using a computer and data entry. You’ll be an important part of the process that keeps our customers flying! You have a high school diploma or GED. You have a minimum 1 year of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment. You have strong basic math and computation skills. You are proficient with Microsoft Office. You have strong attention to detail. You are organized, focused and results‑oriented. You are a problem‑solver with critical thinking and prioritizing skills. You have good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. WE WOULD REALLY LIKE IT IF… (not a deal breaker) You have familiarity with shipping software or tools You have at least 1 year experience with stockroom and inventory Data entry of unit information creating work orders and sales orders using a computer Print sales and work orders Distribute units/instruments to the appropriate labs Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments by examining contents and comparing with records, such as packing sheets, invoices, correspondence or orders Create shipping paperwork and labels from the shipping computer, compare to work order tracker Alert manager or vendors of discrepancies and work to resolve issues Ensure incoming deliveries are routed to the appropriate location Maintain inventory of shipping supplies Comply with all hazardous material shipping regulations Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers and vendors #J-18808-Ljbffr
