Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,040 per week

Job Summary Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse located in Renton, Washington. This position involves providing specialized care in a busy obstetrics unit, focusing on active labor, postpartum, and gestational hypertension. Employment Details Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/20/2026 Duration: 12 weeks Hours per Week: 36 hours Shift Length: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities Provide high‑quality nursing care to laboring patients throughout the continuum of care. Manage 12‑hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, ensuring a minimum of 36 hours per week. Collaborate with nurses, obstetricians, and support staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes. Float to postpartum as required, ensuring seamless patient transitions. Adhere to unit dress code of navy blue scrubs and hospital‑provided jackets. Required Qualifications Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse. Certifications: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Labor and Delivery setting. Active license submission required for qualification. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Epic EMR related to Labor and Delivery units. Experience circulating in the operating room. Unit Notes No travel candidates within 50 miles of the unit. Approximately 220 births per month with 11 beds, 2 operating suites, 4 postpartum beds. Follows AWHONN guidelines for patient ratios. Clinical Environment Obstetric and neonatal intensivists in‑house 24/7. In‑house anesthesia available. No telemonitoring equipment on this unit.
