Rental Sales Management Trainee

Job Title: Rental Sales Management Trainee Location: Norton, MA Shift: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift Job Summary: This fast‑paced program is designed to develop industry knowledge, skills, and resources needed for a career in sales, operations, or management. Over 18–24 months (with the possibility of completion in as little as 12 months) you will handle operational and administrative tasks supporting location and regional management. Structured work weeks, rotational Saturday hours (depending on branch), competitive pay plus overtime are included. Essential Functions Handle inbound sales calls and conduct outbound solicitation. Maintain current and accurate data within the company’s marketing database. Generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads. Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle maintenance and cleanliness standards. Execute sales and marketing initiatives to meet overall Ryder market share targets. Maintain compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies. Reconcile customer concerns, issues, and disputes to maintain relationships and grow the customer base. Additional Responsibilities Occasionally serve as an On‑Call Representative based on supervisor‑determined schedules. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment. High energy, self‑motivated, and self‑directed with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to create and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels. Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices and common sense. Ability to learn quickly and relocate in the region/US upon program completion. Intermediate computer literacy. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. One (1) year or more of customer service with issue resolution experience preferred. Intermediate computer literacy required. Travel: None Compensation Salary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year (salaried). Possible bonus, commission and long‑term incentive plan based on level and type.
