Area General Manager

Overview We are looking for a talented Branch Manager – Segment or Small Geography to join our team specializing in General Management for Cummins, Inc. in New Hudson and Mount Clemens, MI. Responsibilities Manage Branches: Oversee branches through Branch Managers, ensuring effective operations and leadership. Financial Oversight: Be responsible for all functions and financial metrics for the group of branches. Annual Operating Plan: Develop the Annual Operating Plan with input from Business Development and Branch Managers; manage the business to this plan and monitor key business metrics. Market Analysis: Conduct and manage market analysis within your span of responsibilities. Business Growth: Ensure business growth by managing the annual marketing and sales plan, developing and maintaining customer relationships, and forming new business partnerships and alliances. Customer Satisfaction: Manage customer satisfaction for the branches, encourage a culture of customer service, and recruit, develop, motivate, and retain high-quality customer service employees. Warranty Management: Oversee warranty submission and rejection processes, understand repetitive warranty issues, provide feedback for product and service improvement, and monitor Repair Event Cycle Time. Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards; oversee related audits. Ensure that you have the right parts, information, tools, and qualified technicians available to meet customer needs. Qualifications Education/Experience: College, university, or equivalent degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related subject required. Six Sigma Green Belt certification or Sponsor certification required. Significant relevant experience required, including managerial and budgetary experience.
