Position Overview:
As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Lehigh Acres Health and Rehab, you will play a key role in assisting licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and regain independence. You will work with patients across a variety of settings, providing hands-on care while making a meaningful difference in their recovery process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.

• Perform therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve mobility and reduce pain.

• Monitor and document patient progress and communicate changes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

• Educate patients and their families about exercise, safety, and proper body mechanics.

• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and maintain the highest standards of patient care.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Florida.

• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.

• Passionate about making a difference in patients’ lives.

• Previous experience in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing setting preferred but not required.
