Location: Venice, FL

Pay Rate: $21.00–$22.00 per hour DOE

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Position Overview

Ad-VANCE Talent Solutions is hiring a dependable and customer-focused Regional Customer Service Representative for our client company in Venice, FL.

This position serves as a primary point of contact for residential and commercial customers throughout the region. The Regional CSR will answer incoming calls, address service and billing questions, enter work orders, update customer accounts, and coordinate with local operations teams to resolve customer concerns.

The ideal candidate is comfortable handling a steady call volume, navigating multiple computer systems, and assisting customers who may be frustrated about a missed pickup, billing concern, or service issue.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming customer calls professionally and efficiently.
• Assist residential and commercial customers with service, billing, scheduling, and account questions.
• Enter new service requests, missed-pickup reports, cancellations, and account changes.
• Create and update work orders accurately.
• Research customer concerns and work toward timely resolutions.
• Coordinate with drivers, dispatchers, supervisors, and division personnel regarding service issues.
• Explain company services, policies, rates, and billing information clearly.
• Process payments and update customer account information.
• Document calls, account activity, and follow-up actions thoroughly.
• Follow up on unresolved concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
• Support multiple locations or divisions within the assigned region.
• Complete data entry, reports, and other administrative duties as assigned.
• Maintain a calm and professional approach when assisting upset or dissatisfied customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of customer service, call-center, dispatch, or office experience preferred.
• Strong telephone and written communication skills.
• Accurate data-entry and account-documentation abilities.
• Comfortable handling a steady volume of customer calls.
• Able to navigate multiple computer programs and screens.
• Strong problem-solving, organization, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to remain patient and professional during difficult customer interactions.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel preferred.
• Previous experience in waste services, utilities, transportation, logistics, or another service-based industry is helpful but not required.
