Housing Specialist
Duties
Provide technical housing expertise and assistance to garrison Commander/Manager and other installation staff.
Advise chain-of-command on all aspects of the installation housing program.
Prepare and presents effective, accurate, and complete briefings, information, and correspondence.
Ensure that all aspects of the DA Portfolio and Asset Management (PAM) procedures are followed.
Responsible for the management of contractual agreements with the contractor(s) for multiple sites for both family and unaccompanied housing.
Perform periodic/scheduled surveys, audits, reviews and inspections to determine family housing conditions or requirements to evaluate work being performed under the housing contracts.
Provide oversight for projects annual income stream.
Develop and identify short and long-range plans to meet IMCOM service contract requirements.
Analyzes and assesses data for a variety of reports pertinent to availability of housing, Military and Civilian personnel, quarterly data on customer service, and Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) surveys.
Represent the organization in installation level meetings and or at various conferences and meetings.
Serve as the Contracting Officer Representative (COR) responsible for oversight, guidance, fiscal policy, and control of contractor owned-government leased quarters.
Brief General Officers on those plans and expenditures for their residence.
