Duties

• Perform landscape maintenance activities such as mowing, trimming, planting, pruning, and gardening to maintain healthy and attractive grounds.
• Operate grounds maintenance equipment including lawn mowers, power tools, safely and efficiently.
• Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper watering schedules and troubleshoot issues as needed.
• Conduct tree care activities such as trimming, pruning, and assessing health to promote safety and aesthetics.
• Assist with hardscape projects
• Pulling weeds and spraying on residential and commercial properties

Requirements

• Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating landscaping and grounds maintenance equipment.
• Prior outdoor work experience with a focus on grounds keeping or landscaping.
• Knowledge of horticulture principles including plant identification and plant care techniques.
• Familiarity with irrigation systems, , tree trimming, and lawn care practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, lawn mowers, , and other grounds maintenance machinery safely.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols related to outdoor work environments and equipment operation.
• Construction experience or familiarity with hardscape installation is a plus.
• Excellent teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently in outdoor settings under varying weather conditions.
